The Columbia Purchase Advantage™ is a program that provides the borrower with an underwriting credit-approved home loan as opposed to a pre-qualification or "pre-approval" letter which has not been verified.

By obtaining a Columbia Purchase Advantage™, Columbia is issuing a credit approval after a file review by an underwriting. This will save you time as a borrower and prevent unnecessary delays in the loan process.
