Nathan Beatty is the Market Director for Middle Market Commercial Banking at Columbia Bank in Portland/Southwest Washington. With 25+ years in banking, Nathan leads one of the largest and most successful commercial teams in the bank, having won Team of the Year multiple years in a row. His drive for excellence is reflected in his team’s commitment to high-touch client service, challenging banking “status quo”, and his constant push for professional and skills development. Nathan leverages his team’s diverse skillsets and industry expertise to deliver highly customized banking approaches that are unique to each individual company.
Serving businesses with revenue from $25 – 200 million, his team banks some of the most recognizable companies in the region offering complex treasury and lending solutions critical to their growth and success. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington, an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Vanderbilt University, and is a proud graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. Nathan adores his wife and three children, with whom he enjoys golfing at Oregon Golf Club, travelling, and many outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, off-roading, and camping.
