Luke Pingel, senior vice president and team leader with Columbia Bank works to provide tailored banking services for nonprofit and governmental clients throughout the Pacific Northwest as a leader in our Public Finance group in Washington and Oregon.
Luke’s experience includes providing taxable and tax-exempt debt to nonprofit and governmental clients throughout the Pacific Northwest, including debt issued through conduit issuers to qualified non profits in Washington. The Public Finance Group works to evaluate each situation and provide lending and banking solutions based on each client's unique needs and in consideration of the unique funding sources. Funding sources often include components such as capital campaigns and local, state and federal funding sources.
Over his 17 years with the Bank, Luke has helped the Bank to build lasting relationships in the nonprofit and governmental sectors with a wide range of organizations including healthcare organizations, community development financial institutions, affordable housing developers, senior housing providers, core human service providers and educational nonprofits. In the governmental sector, he has worked with a wide range of clients including local housing authorities, state agencies, cities, counties, ports, public hospitals, school districts and local utilities.
