Brian is a Senior Vice President at Columbia Bank in Los Angeles, where he focuses on originating commercial real estate loans throughout the Western U.S. across the bank’s construction, bridge, and permanent lending programs. With more than 20 years of experience structuring and executing real estate finance deals, he has participated in transactions totaling over $10 billion.
Prior to joining Columbia Bank, Brian held senior roles at Natixis and CapitalSource. Most recently, he led the Real Estate Banking Group at Citizens Business Bank, where he managed an origination team and oversaw a substantial loan portfolio. He began his career at Deutsche Bank in London in the CMBS large loan group.
In addition to his professional work, Brian volunteers at Hillsides in Pasadena and is active in several industry organizations, including ULI, NMHC, and ICSC. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with a minor in Finance, from Fairfield University, graduating with honors. He is also a proud alumnus of Loyola High School of Los Angeles.
