Brian is a Senior Vice President at Columbia Bank in Los Angeles, specializing in the origination of commercial real estate loans throughout the Western U.S. for the bank’s permanent, bridge and construction programs. With over 20 years of experience in providing structured finance solutions for real estate projects, he has participated in transactions totaling more than $10 billion.
Before joining Columbia Bank, Brian held senior positions at Natixis and CapitalSource. Most recently, he led the Real Estate Banking Group at Citizens Business Bank, where he managed an origination team and oversaw a substantial loan portfolio. Brian began his real estate finance career at Deutsche Bank in London, where he worked in the CMBS large loan group.
In addition to his professional commitments, Brian volunteers at Hillsides in Pasadena and is actively involved in several real estate organizations, including ULI, NMHC, and ICSC. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in international studies with a minor in finance from Fairfield University, graduating with honors, and is a proud alumnus of Loyola High School of Los Angeles.
