Jason began his career as an investment and performance measurement specialist for Laird Norton Trust Company. He was promoted to associate portfolio manager where his client responsibilities included portfolio management for both private individuals and Institutional accounts. In 2002, Jason joined Wentworth Hauser & Violich as an associate portfolio manager and security research analyst. Prior to coming on board with Columbia Bank, Jason spent 4 years with UBS Financial Services both as a financial advisor and investment analyst.

In delivering the client experience, Jason takes the time to understand your needs, goals, and values to develop a highly individualized solution unique to you. He keeps you informed on a regular basis through portfolio reviews and can monitor your progress to keep your strategy on track toward your long-term goals. As your needs change, our ongoing process ensures that your investment strategy responds to ever-changing markets and your evolving needs.

Jason is a member of the CFA Institute and member of CFA Society of Seattle. A graduate of University of Washington with a B.S. in Economics. Jason enjoys cycling, sailing, and hiking.

Barbara’s broad background in trust and estate services provides her with the knowledge and experience to thoroughly oversee the administration of Columbia Bank Trust Services accounts. From opening to distributions, taxes and closing, Barbara uses her unique understanding of the complex compliance and policy issues to ensure that even the most complicated transaction runs smoothly. Her personal touch and close attention to detail provides clients with the dedicated customer service they deserve.

Barbara attended Washington State University where her educational emphasis was in Business and Communications. She holds an Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Highline Community College. Barbara is a Honors Graduate of Boston University’s Cannon Trust School and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.

For over 11 years, Barbara has lived in the East Bremerton/Tracyton area. She serves on the Kitsap County Estate Planning Council as well as the Planning Committee for the Northwest Trust Conference. Barbara also volunteers her time to youth and senior athletics.

Susan Brinkman has gained a strong expertise in the administration of personal and charitable trust and investment management accounts throughout her 22 years in the trust industry. Susan uses her broad experience and fiduciary knowledge to find solutions for her clients’ financial, tax, investment and estate planning needs. Her experience has taught her to be attentive to her clients’ needs and goals and to look for appropriate solutions that add value. Susan believes that the key to providing a high level of service to her clients is building strong relationships.

Susan Brinkman is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School. In addition, Susan is an honors graduate of the ABA’s National Graduate Trust School. She attended Colorado State University.

Susan is an active participant in her community, volunteering with several organizations. She currently works with Awana Clubs International and is the former CEO of the National Organization Caring for Kids (NOCK). Susan previously served on the Boards of Gig Harbor Academy and the Tacoma Symphony.
