Oregon Wildfire Assistance

FEMA Relief

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is providing disaster relief for those affected by the Oregon wildfires.

If you have been affected by the wildfires and are in need of aid, you can apply for relief four different ways:

  • Online at disasterassistance.gov
  • On a mobile device through the FEMA app
  • By calling FEMA at 800-621-FEMA or TTY 800-462-7585
  • In-person at a Disaster Recovery Center. Find a location at fema.gov/drc

To receive relief, you must be from one of the following Oregon counties:

  • Clackamas
  • Douglas
  • Jackson
  • Klamath
  • Lane
  • Lincoln
  • Linn
  • Marion

We are saddened by the destruction and devastation the fires have incurred on our communities. We encourage anyone affected by the fires to reach out for assistance through local and federal resources.

SBA Relief

In addition to FEMA assistance, the Small Business Administration (SBA) is also providing relief to those who suffered losses from the Oregon wildfires.

The SBA is offering low-interest loans to non-farm businesses, private non-profits, homeowners, and renters to put toward rebuilding efforts. The following loans are available:

  • Homeowners: Up to $200,000 to repair or replace real estate damage and up to $40,000 to replace personal property.
  • Renters: Up to $40,000 to repair or replace personal property.
  • Business Property Damage: Up to $2,000,000 to repair or replace real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory, and other assets that were damaged or destroyed (available to businesses of any size and private, non-profit organizations).
  • Business Economic Injury: Only for small businesses and most private non-profit organizations suffering adverse financial impacts of the disaster (with or without property loss), up to $2,000,000 for working capital to help pay obligations until normal operations resume.

If you need additional assistance, the SBA has also created a Virtual Disaster Loan Outreach Center open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EDT. You can contact an SBA customer service representative via email at FOCWAssistance@sba.gov or by phone at 800-659-2955.

If you are from any of the counties listed above and wish to apply for a loan, contact the outreach center or visit the Disaster Loan Assistance website to apply.
