For the past several years, Columbia Bank employees have been rolling up their sleeves and getting down to work to help support Rebuilding Together South Sound.
Rebuilding Together South Sound seeks to change the life of one South Puget Sound homeowner or family-in-need by mobilizing volunteers to provide much-needed home renovation support. Last year, our Columbia Bank volunteer team patched ceilings, replaced missing fence boards, and even located and dug up a septic system so it could be relocated, all on behalf of Lakewood homeowner Karen Garriss, who was in danger of losing her house after to a string of tragedies.
KOMO 4 News interviewed Ms. Garriss and documented the dramatic transformation that her home went through. This year, our Columbia Bank team is already busy preparing for Rebuilding Together South Sound Day 2015.
