Keep Your System Up to Date – Your operating system, such as Windows or OSX, release critical security updates on a regular basis. Be sure to routinely check for updates or choose to have them install automatically to ensure your system is always updated with the most current security patches. Change Your Password – It is important to change your password on a regular basis. We recommend that you avoid using the same password for all of the services you access online. Make sure your password is complex, using a combination of upper and lower case alphabetical characters and numbers while keeping in mind any password restrictions and requirements the online service-provider may have.
