You may already be aware that on November 1, 2014, Panhandle State Bank, Intermountain Community Bank and Magic Valley Bank joined the Columbia Bank family. As a result of the merger, you now have access to even more financial products, services and branches throughout Idaho, Washington and Oregon. In addition to these enhancements, you’ll continue to enjoy working with the same great bankers you’ve come to know. We believe you will find the combined organization will continue to operate as a local, community bank, retaining the same strong commitment to customers and to the communities we serve.

Together, the bank is even stronger, with over $8 billion in assets, more than 150 branch locations and capital levels well above the threshold to be considered “well capitalized” under regulatory standards.

Over the coming weeks you will begin to see the Columbia Bank logo on signs, in branches, on the website and on statements. The actual transition to Columbia Bank systems, however, will not take place until spring of 2015, and you will receive information well in advance regarding changes to any of your products and services.

  • Continue banking as usual. There will be no disruption in service. We encourage you to continue using your checks, ATM/debit cards, credit cards and online services as you always have.
  • Additional convenience. You will now enjoy greater banking access to over 150 branches throughout Idaho, Washington and Oregon. In addition, you will be able to cash your checks and make deposits at any Columbia Bank location as well as use your Intermountain, Panhandle or Magic Valley Bank ATM/debit card at any Columbia Bank ATM without a fee.   • Broader array of financial services. New services will soon be available to you as a result of the merger including International Banking, Business Mobile Banking, and enhanced commercial and small business lending.
  • Watch for additional information. As we move forward with the transition process, you will receive important materials in distinctive blue envelopes. Please be sure to read the contents to remain informed of important transition information.
