Columbia OnCall - Speech Recognition

Columbia OnCall offers you two options - touch tone and speech recognition - so you can bank the way you want.

With the Speech Recognition option, you can actually speak your responses and entries while using Columbia OnCall. You always call the same phone numbers - 253-305-0050, or 1-800-304-0050 - to access Columbia OnCall, and then choose the option you prefer.

To choose Speech Recognition, you simply respond verbally when prompted. (Touch tone is offered as an option at the beginning of your call - right after you hear the list of available functions, you will be prompted to press "1" to access the Touch Tone format.)


Keeping your information secure - For your security, while you are using the speech recognition format, you may opt at any time to enter sensitive numeric information - such as your account numbers, balances and PIN - with your telephone keypad rather than by voice. (You can also save time by pressing "#" at the end of your entry. This tells the system to proceed.)

While using the Speech Recognition format, please speak clearly and in a normal tone of voice to ensure that your response will be understood. If, after three attempts, your responses are not understood, (background noise, especially when using a speakerphone, can sometimes cause interference) you will be asked if you would like the option of switching to the touch tone format.
